- PR3581.S8 1822 Milton Collection copy presented to the Penn Libraries by Joseph A. Wittreich in honor of Stuart A. Curran, 2021 has fore-edge painting revealed when the pages are spread fan-like, depicting Milton at the ages of 10, 21, and 62 years on a background design adapted from an unfinished tapestry saved from the Great Fire, 1666. Copy has bookplate of Leonard B. Schlosser on front pastedown and inscribed "W. M. Barnes from Tommy Moore" on preliminary page [2].
