"Brunel Clerveaux est né au Cap-Hatïen mais a grandit a Morne-Rouge à deux pas du Bois-Caïman. Il fit es études primaires chez les pères Salésiens du Cap-Hatïen (Fondation Vincent), ses études primaires au Lycée Alexandre Pétion et ses études universitaires à l'Université d'État d'Haïti (INAGHEI). Brunel Clerveaux est aussi détenteur d'une maitrise en Business Administration (MBA) qu'il a décrochée à Everest University en Floride. Grande amant du sport, particulièrement le football, il fut chroniqueur sportif et fonda une équipe de football amateur à West Palm Beach où ont évolué plusieurs grands noms du football Haitien tels que Jamil Jean-Jacques, Bitielo Jean-Jacques, Fabrice Noël, Frantz Gilles pour ne citer que ceux-là. Comme éducateur, il a travaillé durant plusieurs années pour le district scolaire des contés de Palm Beach et de Duval en Floride. Comme activiste, il fonda l'organisation civique appelée <<The Haitian-American Connection of Palm Beach>>."-- Back cover.

"Brunel Clerveaux was born in Cap-Hatïen but grew up in Morne-Rouge, a stone's throw from Bois-Caïman. He completed his primary studies with the Salesian Fathers of Cap-Hatïen (Fondation Vincent), his primary studies at the Lycée Alexandre Pétion and his university studies at the State University of Haiti (INAGHEI). Brunel Clerveaux also holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Everest University in Florida. A great lover of sports, especially football, he was a sports columnist and founded an amateur football team in West Palm Beach where several big names in Haitian football played, such as Jamil Jean-Jacques, Bitielo Jean-Jacques, Fabrice Noël, Frantz Gilles, to name a few. As an educator, he worked for several years for the school district of Palm Beach and Duval counties in Florida.
