- Summary:
- Christian nationalism is the belief that America should be defined as a Christian nation, with government adherence to this ideology. God and Country looks at the implications of Christian nationalism and how it distorts not only our democracy, but Christianity itself. Featuring prominent Christian leaders and writers, the film asks this question: What happens when a faith built on love, sacrifice, and forgiveness grows political tentacles, conflating power, money, and belief into hyper-nationalism?
