- In 2018, the national election in Brazil became one of the biggest political upheavals in the country's history - one that saw Black female politicians rise to power. In Rio de Janeiro, Mônica Francisco, Rose Cipriano, Renata Souza, Jaqueline de Jesus, Tainá de Paula, and Talíria Petrone applied for the positions of state and federal deputy aiming for political renewal. The documentary follows these women in their campaigns in 2018, showing that a new way of doing politics in Brazil is possible.
