- Archival caption: British Rock group Queen performing at the NEC Arena in Birmingham on the band's The Works tour. Pictured is lead singer Freddie Mercury. The Works album contained the hit singles Radio Ga-Ga, I Want to Break Free, It's a Hard Life and Hammer To Fall, and continued to groups success well into the 1980s, just ahead of their iconic performance at Live Aid a year later in 1985. Picture taken 31st August 1984.
