- Archival caption: Welsh singer Iris Williams appears in Christmas panto at the Pavilion theatre, Glasgow, with a very unique record. Iris was the first ever black Aladdin. Every time she rubs the "magic lantern' she is hoping that it will work magic for her and that some day that she will able to find her long last father who was an American soldier. Iris was adopted at birth and has since found her mother but never been able to trace her father. December 1982.
