Archival caption: Rabia Tameen and Leroy Cooper, with two unidentified men, on Princes Road in Toxteth. Leroy Cooper's arrest in 1981 was the tipping point of events and growing tensions that sparked the riots in Toxteth. Today Leroy is a poet, photographer and part of a talented Toxteth group which has just published its work looking at life in the inner-city. 17th June 1991.
