Summary:
Archival caption: Michael Groce at home with his grandmother Euphemia Hamilton. On the 28th September armed police were looking for Michael Groce, when they called at his mother's home (Dorothy Cherry Groce) in Brixton, where she was accidentally shot by a detective. Her shooting triggered riots in Brixton. Groce handed himself in to the police shortly afterwards. Brixton 1st October 1985.
