- Archival caption: Be Prepared. The Boys Scout Hall in Tehran's prestigious northern suburb of Shemiran has a new use. Just down the road from the Shah's Saadabad Palace, it is now being used to train soldiers for Khomeini's army. These soldiers being trained by members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards include young boys and old men, and are instructed in the use of guns, ammunition and explosives. 11th December 1979. Young men learning how to handle an assault rifle.
