Archival caption: Actor Sarah Lancashire in a 1987 photo shoot on the cobbles of the set of Coronation Street. One of her first professional jobs. In these pictures, Sarah has been cast as Wendy Farmer, a prospective lodger of series regular Jack Duckworth (Bill Tarmey). In 1991, Sarah re-joined the cast as Raquel Watts, wife of Curly Watts, and later barmaid at The Rovers Return. Sarah left the street in 2000 to pursue her own wider acting career. Picture taken 21st October 1987.
