The purpose of this title is to offer a deep reflection that goes beyond the current political context regarding the state of militarization in Mexico, as well as to explore possible ways to reverse it. Each chapter aims to connect academic analysis with the real-life impacts of the complex phenomenon of militarization on people s everyday daily lives and the broader issue of military presence in the country.
