Summary:
This title is part of the Letras Fílmicas series and, as in previous volumes, the texts are structured around a central theme, this time, the resilience of cinema, with a focus on the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath. The book offers a film-by-film analysis of a hundred works produced between 2017 and 2021, selected by the author. Ayala Blanco centers his approach on the idea that the pandemic has elevated audiovisual resilience to a new paradigm of communication. Through this lens, he seeks to respond fairly to the phenomenon, addressing the demands of a creative community of filmmakers.
