Summary:
This title is the result of the collective thought of specialists from UNICACH, affiliated with the Institutes of Research on Risk Management and Climate Change, Biological Sciences, the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences, as well as CONAHCYT researchers in Mexico. Throughout the seven chapters that make up this work, the topic of socio-environmental risk in southeastern Mexico is addressed from various scientific perspectives. This region is characterized by its rich natural and cultural heritage, yet marked by significant social disparities. Using innovative methods, the authors present a series of findings and reflections on the relationships that intertwine the society-nature binomial within a territorial context.
