The Bureau of Consumer Protection of the of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) presents the full text of the October 2000 business fact sheet entitled "Disclosing Energy Efficiency Information: A Guide for Online Sellers of Appliances." The bureau discusses the Appliance Labeling Rule, which requires manufacturers to put EnergyGuide labels on some appliances.
