Summary:
Three documents have to do with the Action Coalition Against Briggs, one of the groups that arose to fight California Proposition 6 of 1978, a measure to bar gays from working in public schools. Included are handwritten notes having to do with disputes within the anti-Briggs Initiative community, particularly criticism from socialist groups of others that don't support their broader agenda. Also included is a letter from the Action Coalition asking the ARCO Corporation to either explain its donation to Briggs or to repudiate it.
Notes:
Folder 17: No on Briggs Initiative Committee (NO BIC) ; Morris Kight 1977-1978.
