- A letter dated Aug. 20, 1993 from Tracy Baim of Lambda Publications of Chicago to Colleen Marzec of the Washington (D.C.) Blade contains terms of use for photos provided by Lambda. A paragraph regarding fees is highlighted in yellow marker. It was apparently returned by Marzec with her handwritten note that the photo ran in the Blade's Aug. 27 issue and that a sample of the page was sent. A second documents lists the duties for an office manager at Lambda publications, with a handwritten note in black ink stating that start time is 9:00 am.
