Summary:
In response to overheating 250 and 292 cu. in. Chevrolet engines, the bureau issued this technical note of advisement for correcting the issue. Also includes instructions on insulating noise suppression condensers for 1968 and 1969 Chevrolet vehicles that are no longer under warranty. The noise suppression device for these vehicles have a high failure rate; insulating the metal attachment strap before failure will help prolong the life.
