- Summary:
- The following note contains several remarks on the possible improvement of the experimental determination of the aerodynamic properties of wing sections. It shows how errors of observations can subsequently be partially eliminated, and how the computation of the maxima and minima of aerodynamc characteristics can be much improved.
- Special attention is given to the use of indices for classifying the aerodynamic properties of wing sections. The merits and disadvantages of such indices now in use are discussed, and a method for the determination of a new kind of indices is given.
