Summary:
Beginning in the summer of 1942 with Operation Case Blau (Blue), this documentary covers the German eastward advance and their culmination in Stalingrad. The video ends with the Soviet counterattack in Operation Uranus and the surrender of 6th Army on 2 February 1943. This film also highlights current U.S. Army doctrine as it relates to the large scale combat operations of both Germany and the Soviet Union.
