- Summary:
- This document contains the software requirements analysis for a prototype of BuyIt. As a component of the Corporate Business Application Software System (C-BASS), this application automates small purchase requests (under $2,500). The document follows the process of structured analysis, or stepwise refinement of requirements, as applied to the development of Buylt. The environmental model includes a high level system description, followed by a context diagram and a list of events to which the system must respond. The behavioral model includes a data flow diagram (DFD) for each of the seven BuyIt subsystems. From this representation, the basic functional specifications are derived and represented in structured English (or program design language). The final segment of the document includes a data dictionary.
