- Summary:
- The NASA Safety Reporting System (NSRS) allows employees to confidentially report safety concerns using a standardized form, which is forwarded to the NSRS contractor for analysis. The objective of the audit was to evaluate the effectiveness of the NSRS and specifically to determine whether NASA and the NSRS contractor effectively performed contact requirements. The report identifies conditions regarding the contract that warrant timely action, because NASA did not terminate it as recommended by the Small Busnesss Administration.
