These documents present the results of an independent investigation of the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant as initiated by the Secretary of Energy in Aug. 1999, to investigate disposal of hazardous and radioactive materials and various environmental and health aspects of those materials. The reports are in two parts, phase I representing the investigation from 1990 to the present, phase II representing startup of the Plant in 1952 until 1990.
