- Manuscript leaves bound into the Hebrew bible of Avraham ben Yaʻaḳov Katz, cantor of Hildesheim (in Niedersachsen, or Lower Saxony), with recordings of local variants of the prayers during Fasts, Holidays, Torah readings, and short references to sermons. Included is the prayer of drought (f.1v-2r) and Yiddish descriptions of the deep European droughts of 1842, and his subsequent purchase of food.
