Summary:
Edmond Dantes Jr. (Louis Hayward), the dashing son of the Count of Monte Cristo, finds his own adventure in the kingdom of Lichtenburg. Although the Grand Duchess of Zona (Joan Bennett) rightfully rules over the territory, she is engaged in a power struggle with evil General Gurko (George Sanders), who conspires to take over.
