Summary:

Assistant DA Howard Malloy (Franchot Tone) tangles with an extremist political faction called "The Crusaders" in this intense crime thriller from director Fletcher Markle. As Malloy investigates a series of murders he believes are linked to the group, he meets some colorful characters, including eccentric politicians and a sultry nightclub singer, who may or may not help him solve this jigsaw puzzle of death.
