Summary:

In Spain in 1973, Alfredo is a struggling door to door encyclopedia salesman. Meanwhile, his wife, Carmen, is obsessed with becoming a mother. Alfredo's boss gives him a choice; he can make 'educational' sex films at home for a Scandinavian distributor, or get fired.
