June 1, 1763, the lieutenant-governor was requested "to prepare a very particular state of the controversy between this government and the governments of Connecticut and New-York, respecting the boundary lines between them; and also a state of the claim of this province to a reimbursement of the charge of supporting Fort Dummer and the frontiers of New Hampshire." Dec. 28 the report was accepted and ordered to be printed at the end of the House Journal for the session. cf. House Journal 1763, p. 38 and 136.
