"Subjoined is all the evidence relating to the great frauds of 1838 that has been taken up to the latest period of the investigation. It will be seen that the witnesses are men connected with both political parties. In the Appendix is collected all the extra-judicial evidence that has been taken, either in New York or Philadelphia. Nothing of importance relating to the matter is kept from the eye of the reader, who has the whole case presented to him, with the view to help him to an impartial decision."
