An anti-Jackson campaign document, comprising a reprint, with comments, of the documents published the same year as House Report no. 140 of the 20th Congress, 1st session, under title: "Tennessee militiamen." The report of the House Committee on Military Affairs, accompanying the documents, is omitted from this reprint. The six militiamen were executed for mutiny at the close of the Creek War in 1814.
