- Ce magnifique documentaire sur la découverte fait suite au projet musical unique «Le baroque au pays des fils du ciel». Un projet mené par un ensemble très original composé du grand chanteur d'opéra chinois et super star Zhang Hong-li, de l'ensemble chinois Huaxia et de l'ensemble du Concert de l'Hostel Dieu de France. La belle voix de Zhang Hong-li, le talent des musiciens barroques et les grandes scènes du Shanxi Provence en Chine captiveront complètement le public en plus des images de concert en direct et du son incroyable de ce spectacle. Inspiré par la vie et le parcours de Teodorico Pedrini, missionnaire lazariste, musicien italien envoyé par le pape Clément XI au début du XVIIIe siècle à la cour de l'empereur chinois Kangxi, ce projet recrée à travers une série de concerts le moment magique où La Chine a découvert la musique baroque européenne.
- This beautiful documentary follows the unique music project "Baroque in the Country of the sons of Heaven". A project led by a very original ensemble composed of the great Chinese opera singer and super star Zhang Hong-li, the Huaxia Chinese ensemble and the Concert de l'Hostel Dieu ensemble from France. The beautiful voice of Zhang Hong-li, the talent of the baroque musicians and the great scenes of the Shanxi Provence in China will completely captivate the public on top of the live concert images and amazing sound of this show. Inspired by the life and journey of Teodorico Pedrini who is a Lazarist missionary, Italian musician sent by pope Clément XI in the beginning of the 18th century to the court of the Chinese emperor Kangxi, this project recreates through a series of concerts the magical moment when China was introduced to European Baroque Music.
