Summary:
Do people have a place on a theatre stage? Can they hold the powerful to account? Can they refuse the sacrifices they are asked to make? In 2010, stage director Natascha Rudolf invited a diverse group of residents from Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis) to take part in a unique experiment: to collectively create a contemporary chorus that would be integrated into a tragedy by Racine, Iphigenia, performed by professional actors.
