Summary:
Ivan, 58, is a "seagull": a Bulgarian ladies' man, who's been charming women tourists at Sunny Beach since communist times. After 40 years, he wants to settle down, but it's not easy. With no savings and no tourists during the pandemic, he scrapes by washing cars and windows. He tries to connect with Russian women, offering help with EU visas and property, but realizes he's no longer seen as a serious partner. Beneath his bravado lies a deeper wound: an estranged adult son in Ukraine who refuses contact. As spring 2022 begins, Ivan wonders if it's finally time to reach out and mend what's broken before it's too late.
