They join the Aspen Festival Orchestra under the direction of the great Jane Glover, who also conducts another unconventional concerto: Bartók's Concerto for Orchestra, one of the Hungarian great's final compositions before his death — a virtuosic showpiece for each orchestral section, and a resounding hit with critics and audiences since its first performance in 1944.
