- Summary:
- “Giving shape to what by definition has none. Sculpting through the wind where the ineffable cannot be told”—Mourad Merzouki. Mourad Merzouki’s Zéphyr helps us discover life under the Sun through his exploration of submitting oneself to invisible yet powerful natural forces. In this show, the dancers seek to play with natural forces such as gravity, wind and the sea, and in doing so invigorate this spellbinding choreography, crafted by Mourad Merzouki. Here at the Maison des arts de Créteil, the stage becomes the ancient land of Vendée (the starting point for many famous human pilgrimages), and in the skilful and graceful steps of the dance corps the echo of thousands of tales of human sensibilities resound. © Picture by Laurent Philippe.
