It contains information on the birth of James Stephens (September 13th, 1788), his marriage to Christiana Clark in 1812, and the births of his children. The second record section, on the inside of the front cover, is a typewritten list of more Stephens family information which was added later. The person who donated the Bible, L. Irving Reichner, was the son of Christian Stevens, who was possibly a granddaughter of James Reeves Stephens.
