- Rhoda Hendry received this Bible from her father, Enoch Cook, on December 20th, 1811; Hendry was her married name. Many letters and documents are held inside the back cover, which chronicle multiple generations of the Hendry family and related families. Samuel Hendry is the earliest name listed, as a Revolutionary War soldier who received a pension after his service. The various documents help to put together the family genealogy.
