- John Stead was born on March 5th, 1791. The "marriages, births" section is located after the Apocrypha. Elizabeth Darnbrough Stead was born on August 4th, 1783, and married John Stead on November 3rd, 1817. Their children began to be born in 1818. Thirteen portraits are inserted into slots in the "marriages, births" section, with one or two labeled. (The donor of this Bible also provided the Rambo family bibles.)
