Summary:
James Dyre is listed as being born on 19 Oct 1730. Phoebe Dyre (unknown, but possibly his wife) was born on 27 July 1727. Family record has deaths as well as births: "James Dyre departed this life 12 June 1779", Phoebe Dyre died 6 April 1806, Joseph Dyre died 26 February 1835. Samuel Castor purchased the Bible at a sale of "affects" of Joseph Dyre, and has added some of his own annotations. Joseph Dyre apparently purchased the Bible in 1803 and filled in the "Family Record", blank pages after the Old Testament and before the Apocrypha.
