Spine title.
"For this work, we chose to present sketches of works and research-in-progress. Schwerzmann has many preparatory stages for the conception of the large-format paintings which characterise his work. The different phases of research and experimentation, and the repeated rituals of sketched drawings on graph paper – which have been sensitively enlarged for this book – propose to the reader a new, immersive perspective on one aspect of the process of painting. These postage-stamp format drawings lead the reader to a second part of the book, a test on a canvas of a small painting (30×24cm). Above everything, the book makes visible the rhythm and chronological evolution of the artist’s thinking and experimental systems"--Note from the editor, https://largekiosk.ch/produit/trente-vingt-quatre/
