- Since the 20th century, the Korean Peninsula has been closely monitored by various governments due to its economic development, political instability, and the advancement of nuclear weapons. These realities stem from complex geopolitical dynamics that, in turn, have both regional and global repercussions. In this context, this text examines and identifies key elements necessary to understand this territorial entity, focusing specifically on North Korea's use of nuclear weapons, South Korea's economic and technological growth, the diplomatic tensions between these two states, and various historical facts illustrating how this region has influenced the world and our country.
- Desde el siglo XX, la peniÌnsula de Corea ha sido objeto de rigurosa observacioÌn por parte de diversos Gobiernos, debido a su desarrollo econoÌmico, su inestabilidad poliÌtica y el desarrollo de armas nucleares, realidades producto de complejas dinaÌmicas geopoliÌticas que, a su vez, tienen impacto regional y global. En este contexto, La peniÌnsula de Corea y sus dinaÌmicas en la seguridad internacional es un texto que examina e identifica elementos clave para comprender esta entidad territorial, especiÌficamente, en lo que respecta al uso de armas nucleares por parte de Corea del Norte; el crecimiento econoÌmico y tecnoloÌgico de Corea del Sur; la tensioÌn diplomaÌtica entre estos dos Estados, y algunos hechos histoÌricos con que esta regioÌn ha impactado al mundo y a nuestro paiÌs.
