Summary:
Dutch architect Ben van Berkel (born 1957) is the founder and principal of UNStudio. His first big career break came when he won the commission to design Rotterdam's Erasmus Bridge. In this talk, he begins by tracing the development of the Erasmus Bridge project in Rotterdam, and how it has become a symbol for the city. In the second part, he discusses one of his most recent projects, the STH BNK By Beulah twin towers in Melbourne, currently under construction and set to become Australia's tallest building.
