- Summary:
- The second artist book produced by the museum. "There is in this text, and in these photographs, a flavor, a color, a way of understanding what is Colombian that I would define as perplexity in the face of the baroque nature of our reality. In that way of the Colombian being who laughs at the absurd and has fun in the most extreme situations. A cultural touch acquired by hand, I say, in the billiards of his neighborhood in the Casablanca neighborhood of Suba where he continues to bite the dust in front of taxi drivers, mechanics and unemployed of different kinds; adversaries more brave than him in the matter of caroms. It is in this environment that this visual artist who has always been a writer and who has found not the glory of the billiard player but the satisfaction of the literary profession undoubtedly drinks. That is, ironically, thanks to being, as all writers are, people without a job." --Excerpt from the prologue by Roberto Rubiano, Colombian writer and photographer.
