Summary:
The second edition of the project Diálogos Contemporâneos - Acervo IAC presents the catalog of the exhibition "Rascunhos : Arnaldo Antunes" curated by Daniel Rangel, a shoe that brings to light a careful selection of documents and works by Arnaldo Augusto Nora Antunes Filho, better known as Arnaldo Antunes (São Paulo, 1960), from the Institute's collection. For the exhibition, one of the site-specific works developed by the multiartist is the LED panel that occupies the façade of the Institute, transmitting day and night, uninterruptedly, one of his visual poems. In a game of visual reading and interpretation, the word "Longe" is elongated in order to achieve its spatial and symbolic concepts. The looping video has remained constant since the opening of the exhibition and invites the public's attention by lighting up the night in the middle of the stretch of Avenida Dr. Arnaldo near the building of the IAC.
