- Layout: Written in 22 columns of 23-26 lines, ruled in drypoint, on recto.
- Origin: Written in Italy (script, and traditional custom for lines per column), possibly northern Italy (parchment, script).
- Script: Written in an Italian square script, possibly in two different hands; letters stretched, to adhere to columns; some letters strung beyond outer margins (suggesting this may be a student copy); the traditional list of the sons of Haman written in large letters, in two sub-columns, creating the first column of membrane 6 (איש - ואת - פרשנדתא - ואת...).
