- Summary:
- A film based on a true story. In June, 1991, Ghislaine Marchal, a wealthy widow, is found dead in the basement of her villa near the French Riviera. Letters written in blood make the accusation: "Omar killed me." Some days later, Omar Raddad, her Moroccan gardener, is arrested. He says little, doesn't understand much French, and has the reputation for being calm and serious. Yet he is evidently guilty. Three years later, Pierre Emmanuel Vaugrenard, a journalist convinced of Omar's innocence, decides to lead his own investigation.
