- Biography/History:
- Magdalena Banaszkiewicz is Associate Professor at the Institute of Intercultural Studies, Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Her research interests focus on cultural heritage and tourism development in Central and Eastern Europe. She has published recently "Tourism and Heritage in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone" (Routledge 2023). She is a member of the Una Europa Steering Committee in the field of cultural heritage. Karolina Nikielska-Sekuła is Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center of Migration Research, University of Warsaw and Assistant Professor at the Institute of Intercultural Studies, Jagiellonian University, Krak̤w. Her current scholarly research focuses on migration, visual and sensory sociology, and cultural heritage in the multicultural context.
