- Summary:
- Author uses three of Hardings arguments. the empirical and theoretical resources of women's experiences, a political position against the oppression of women, and the requirement that those who do research must place themselves on the same level as those they place in the object of study. Through this approach, and in the light of substantive gender theory, he finds that the social markers of women politicians yield highly suggestive conclusions. This study adds to the complexity of its subject, situates it and offers the location of its situation with the incorporation of three analytical levels: the objectifiable, the subjectivized, and the relational.
