Sebastián Szyd began a series of trips around the world for 19 years, which became the driving force behind his aesthetic and spiritual pursuits. His projects, which take Latin America and the East as points of reference, are developed along visual, installation, and sound paths. "Over the centuries, thousands of people have made pilgrimages to sacred places to watch the sunrise. In those spaces full of presence, those who are moved by the faith that resides in their heart can transform pain into hope. Walking has arisen with humanity in its eagerness for survival and need. Pilgrimage gives movement a different meaning because it imprints a strong symbolic charge on the movement. Destinies are transformed into geographies of the intangible, where the border between the material and the spiritual is dissolved. Each place radiates the strength of a million prayers.
