- Summary:
- This volume includes nine case studies on native territories where fieldwork has a fundamental place for local research. These particular perspectives address the territorial transformations, the interventions on the heritage and the local repercussions of these phenomena in the pre-Hispanic settlements absorbed by the urbanized territory of Mexico City and its metropolitan area. In addition to showing the various social relations and cultural representations generated from the link with urbanism and other social sectors. This academic exercise is focused on the observation of the city and its growing urbanization, which has promoted the redefinition of the methodological terms with which the people are understood and approached, generating the (re)knowledge and dissemination of these original sites.
