- Summary:
- In central Iran, a man from centuries ago has remained in ancient Naryn Castle in Yazd Province. Narrated from a first-person perspective, this haunting film offers stunning imagery and the story of an intriguing journey. Frequented now only by tourists, this ancient fortress, built originally between 6000 and 2000 years ago and constructed in three historical phases, saw its heyday in the time of the Sassanids (AD 224-661). Its end came finally with the invasion of Tamerlane in the 14th century. Today, the wind blowing through the 40-meter-high ruins is the only echo of its vibrant past.
